I've had birria all over LA and nothing — NOTHING — comes close to Fuego. The consommé alone is worth the drive. Rich, deep, complex flavor with a perfect kick of guajillo. I ordered 6 quesabirrias and had zero regrets. This truck needs a permanent spot.
Hired Fuego for my sister's quince and 120 guests. Every. Single. Person. came up to me asking who the caterer was. Portions are insanely generous — nobody left hungry. The staff was professional and the setup was clean and fast. Already booked them again for my birthday.
Pulled up at 9PM on a Friday expecting a 20-min wait — totally worth it. The vibe at this truck is unmatched: music bumping, the fire from the griddle, the smell of consommé in the air. Tried the Ramen de Birria and honestly my world changed. Best $14 I've ever spent.
