FAQ

Everything you need to know before your first visit.

You must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo at Inkwell Studio. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at the time of your appointment — no exceptions. We do not tattoo minors under any circumstances, even with parental consent.
Pricing depends on size, placement, complexity, and the artist. Our shop minimum is $150. Small to medium pieces typically range from $150–$600. Large custom work, sleeves, and cover-ups are quoted individually during your consultation. We believe quality art is a lifelong investment and price accordingly.
After your session, your artist will apply a bandage or saniderm wrap. Keep it on for 24–48 hours, then gently wash with fragrance-free soap. Moisturize twice daily with unscented lotion. Avoid sun exposure, pools, and soaking for at least 2–3 weeks. Peeling is normal — never pick or scratch. Full aftercare instructions are provided with every appointment.
Absolutely. We love when clients come prepared with references — they help our artists understand your vision. You can bring images, sketches, mood boards, or Pinterest links. Keep in mind that your artist will adapt references into a unique custom piece rather than copying existing work directly. All designs we create are original to Inkwell Studio.
Inkwell Studio is by appointment only. This allows our artists to dedicate full attention to every client and ensures the highest quality work. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Please use the consultation form above to secure your spot — we typically book 2–4 weeks out, so plan ahead.
